In accordance with its program commitments, and with the support of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, the Association of Geography Professors of Macedonia "PROF. Dr. Ljube Milenkovski – Skopje, implemented a field workshop for its members for the 4th time.

This three-day field workshop was conducted in Albania and Kosovo, with visits to geographical facilities, tourist attractions and cultural and historical monuments of exceptional significance for world cultural heritage. The members of the Association who participated in the workshop had the first-morning coffee on the shore of Skadar Lake, and from the luxurious location of the Rosafa fortress, they enjoyed in the fascinating sights that filled their eyes with beauty. The sunny day offered wonderful conditions for relaxing strolling and absorbing the urban and natural beauties of the town of Kroya - the city in which the great Skender Bey was born. After Kroa's visit, the group headed to Durres, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the characteristics of the great port and urban, yet famous cities of the ancient period. On the second day of the trip, the group visited the city of Berat, situated in a picturesque area, a city that captivates with its beauty and is not accidentally on the list for admission to UNESCO. A special experience was the climb to the fortress from whose bosoms a site opens as a kingdom for the eyes to which no one cannot remain indifferent. This day ended with the organization of a geographical evening in an unusual form, which marked the birthday of our patron, Prof. Dr. Ljube Milenkovski. On the third day of the trip, in the morning and with a productive discussion during the seminar, the group had the opportunity to capture the life of Albania's capital - Tirana, after which with sadness that this trip is at the very end, heading towards Kosovo. Although in the evening, a special impression left the visit to the city of Prizren, where the members of the group enjoyed the clear reflection of the city and the calmness of the waters of the Bistrica River. The desire for excellence and the extraordinary sense of humour and positive thought that are recognizable to each geographer, contributed this field workshop to run with a pleasant atmosphere. Once again it was confirmed that the activities of the ZPMG "PROF. DR LJUBE MILENKOVSKI "- Skopje, are in function of professional development, true support and affirmation of the profession-teacher in geography.
